Description
3 Strand Polyester is soft, strong and is an ideal mooring rope, it is also very easy to splice. All our Polyester ropes are now heat set to give better balance and lower stretch.
Polyester has a specific gravity of 1.38 which means it will not float. Polyester has no strength loss when wet, it is flexible and has good abrasion resistance. Polyester fibres also have good resistance to chemicals and have a melting point of 295°C.
Please note minimum quantity when ordering by the metre is 10 metres and will be supplied in one continuous length.
